Before Vertigo There Was Touchmark

About 20 years ago The Walt Disney Company had its own comic book imprint, Disney Comics. They had very ambitious plans. Those plans included a super-hero line called Vista Comics and a more mature line called Touchmark Comics. During the summer of 1991 I went to the San Diego Comic-Con where they had a booth to promote this line and I got a free copy of the very nifty promotional poster that you see at the left side of this entry. I even got meet to meet Grant Morrison on that booth, got his autograph too.

After getting back home I later found out that due to poor sales Disney Comics cancelled all their expansion plans and most of the titles destined for Touchmark ended up in Vertigo. Disney Comics eventually shut down in 1993.

Well I got the poster and I want to share it with all of you. Enjoy.
